About Jennifer Lopez, Family Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, practicing in both North & South Carolina. She is passionate about medical and surgical dermatology as well as providing quality patient care to the entire family.
Jennifer has spent the last 25 years serving in the medical field and has found her passion in the dermatology field. Jennifer has a very clear goal—To deliver high quality, patient centered, medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care.
To deliver this type of service, Jennifer has adopted a direct-care practice model. Her practice model puts patients at the center of their care and eliminates distractions from insurance companies and government regulations
Biography:
Originally from California, Jennifer, graduated from the University of Sacramento State where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was also inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in a trauma intensive care unit at a level 1 trauma hospital at the University of California, Davis.
She then moved to the Carolinas in 2003 where she continued her nursing career working in Emergency Departments, Outpatient Surgery Centers and Urgent Care. Next, Jennifer went onto graduate Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama to complete her Master’s degree with a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
After graduating, she quickly delved into her passion of dermatology and aesthetics and began working at a very busy hospital dermatology clinic serving the Northlake region. There she was fortunate to work beside a very experienced Moh’s surgeon.
In 2024, she decided to bring her dermatology expert care to the Lake Wylie, SC region where she has resided for over 20 yrs. Jennifer remains passionate about helping her patients look and feel their best. She is known for making sure her patients truly understand their conditions so they can feel empowered.
